Bridget Fitzpatrick was born in Ireland[1]. Records of her birth year ranges from 1819 (on the tombstone) [2] to 1822, 1824, 1828, and 1830 in various censuses.
Her brother, Daniel Fitzpatrick, said in his 1850 US naturalization papers that he was from Colt, Queen's County (now Laois County) in Ireland. [3] Bridget is likely from the same area and may have been born there.
She and her mother, Ellza, and her brother Edward Fitzpatrick and sisters Margaret and Ann all came to the US c. 1845.
By 1850, she was in Steuben County, New York, USA, with her husband John D. Kelley. Their son Joseph was born in Corning. [4]
Bridget died on 6 Feb 1897 in Corning New York. [10]
