BIOGRAPHY

Little is know about RUBIN A FLEMING who married Margaret Ann Adams on May 3, 1879. In the following year, the 1880 Federal Census shows this family as living at Green Bay, Covington County, Alabama. The 1880 family group is shown as: R Fleming, age 20; Ann, age 38; and three children. However, the census record does not show the relationship of the three children to Rubin Fleming. It appears the children, identfied only as, "M.L., age 12; J., age 6; and C., age2" are not related to Rubin Fleming. It's possible that Margaret Ann Adams Fleming is the mother of the three children. "M.L." and "C." are known to be white females. However, "J., age 6" is known to be a white male and may be the same individual as Junior Ray Adams, who was born in 1874 or 1875.
