Sarah was born in 1768 in Caroline, VA and died on 8 Feb 1825 in Bedford, Bedford, VA aged 57. Children from this marriage were:

His descendent, Jim Carter of Atlanta GA said that he died of measles, February 1862 while in Company C of the 42nd infantry. George married Sarah J. Carter on 12 Oct 1859. Sarah was born on 2 Mar 1840 and died on 31 Jul 1921 in NC aged 81. 23 F xi. Martha A. Carter was born in 1842. Martha married R. M. McClure. R. was born in 1841. + 24 M xii.
