Mary Elizabeth Fleming was born about 25 November 1847 on her parents' farm in Lewis County, Virginia, USA. Lewis County became Gilmer County, in the new US state of West Virginia in 1863 during the US Civil War. She was the daughter of Samuel Fleming Jr., 15 Dec 1799 in Pennsylvania; d: 1880, and his wife, Dorcas (Goff) Fleming, b: 1812 in Randolph Co., Virginia - 15 June 1882. They had married on 8 August 1842 in Lewis County, Virginia, USA.[1][2]
On 19 June 1869, after the US Civil War split Ritchie County from Virginia, adding it to West Virginia, Mary E. Fleming married Aaron J. Scott in Ritchie County, West Virginia.[3] The couple had a farm in Ritchie County, West Virginia, where they had 12 children:
On the 1880 US Census, Aaron & Mary E. Scott were recorded as married, living on their family farm with 4 children: Alfred: age 11; Samuel: age 7; Alla: age 9; and James: 1 year old, in Murphy District, Ritchie County, West Virginia, USA.[9]
Mary Elizabeth (Fleming) Scott passed away on her farm in Ritchie County, West Virginia, on 16 June 1887. She was 40 years old and the birth of twins at her age led to complications that caused her death. She was buried at the Scott Cemetery, Smithville, Ritchie County, West Virginia, USA.[10]
Her husband survived his wife Mary Elizabeth's untimely death. He remarried to "Tobitha" M. Rollins, b: 1 April 1861, on 23 August 1888 in Ritchie County, West Virginia, USA. The couple had 9 children between October 1888 and September 1899, all in Ritchie County, West Virginia. Tobitha (Rollins) Scott died on 10 September 1906 and was buried at the Scott Cemetery. Aaron Jacob Scott passed away on 12 September 1911 on his farm in Ritchie County, West Virginia, USA. He was buried near his 2 late wives at the Scott Cemetery, Smithville, Ritchie County, West Virginia, USA. [11]

Fleming-11168 and Fleming-3619 appear to represent the same person because: Hi Roy - These clearly represent the same woman. This was an "orphaned" profile that had no LNAB and so I have used FamilySearch (with many official records cited) plus her Find A Grave memorial to "fill in" the gaps. I see the birth and death dates do not Exactly match - do you have Sources for yours ? I believe 5 June 1887 is more accurate for her death but please use the date you believe in. For the birth date - ?? No local records exist I do not think... I relied on Family Search & the 1850 Census. Please merge and then I will give up managership to you since this is Not a relation for me but rather adding a LNAB to an "Unknown" for me. Thanks!
