When Frederick Lemon Flesher Sr was born on December 6, 1821, in Paint TWP, Fayette County, Ohio, his father, Conrad, was 40 and his mother, Elizabeth, was 37. He married Harriett Ann Denham 15 Dec 1842 and they had five children together. He then married Almyra Ann Lemon, who was his first cousin, 13 Jul 1854. They had 12 children together. He died on August 9, 1911, in Elbert, Elbert, Colorado, having lived a long life of 89 years. He was buried in Metcalf Cemetery, Edinburg, Grundy County, Missouri.
