Biography

baptised on the 13 July 1881 in Goulceby, Lincolnshire, England daughter of John Wright Fletcher and Abigail Pickering. In the 1891 Census, she was living with her parents at Asterby, Horncastle, Lincolnshire, She was a General Serv Domestic in 1881 in Kingston upon Hull Holy Trinity and St Mary, Hull, Yorkshire Her mother died about February 1897 and I believe this is why Mary Ann attempted Suicide in May 1897 in Hull by cutting her throat with a razor. The Judge let her off and gave her into her friend's care. In 1899 she married Thomas Schofield.

She gave birth to John William Schofield in 1905 in Hull. Mary Ann Schofield died in 1906 in Sculcoates, Yorkshire, England
