Sir Henry Fletcher 1st Bart. of Hutton in the Forest (d. 1645),[1] son of Richard, was created baronet by Charles I. He built the Gallery Wing in the 1630s and was killed at the Battle of Rowton Heath, fighting for the King against Parliament in 1645.

Death
Henry was slain at the Battle of Rowton Heath (aka Battle of Rowton Moor), which took place on 24 September 1645.[1][6] His son George suc. him as 2nd bart.[3]

Lundy (2015), citing Cokayne (1900). lists another dau. Catherine, by an uknown woman, who m. Thos. Lister.[7] ... previously Whitaker (1805) asserted that this Catherine was dau. of Richard Fletcher.[8]
