During the 1870 US Census, 1. David Fletcher (age 60), is living with wife, 2. Ruth M. Fletcher (age 60) in New York, with:
3. Maria E Fletcher (age 22, I believe this may be his daughter with mother Ruth)
4. Sarah Butler (age 30, I believe this may be Ruth's daughter from a previous marriage)
David was born in Vermont and all other family members were born in New York. David had the occupation of painter at this time and Sarah was a school teacher.
