Amos was born on 25 Jun 1755 at Westford, Middlesex, Massachusetts Bay Colony to Amos Fletcher and Mary (Perham) Fletcher.[1] He served as a private in Captain Oliver Bates' Company under the command of Colonel James Prescott during the Revolutionary War.[2] A marriage intention for Amos and Rebecca (Prescott) Fletcher was published on 15 Jun 1776.[3] Amos was a deacon of the Baptist church. After the death of his wife Rebecca, Amos moved to Maine.[4] He passed about 1805.
