Sarah was born in then Province of New York and after the Revolutionary War, at age 12, came to N.B. with her father, Thos. FLEWELLING, one of the Loyalists.

She leaves 97 descendants, viz. 4 children, 34 grandchildren and 59 great-grandchildren.
