Biography

Katherine Flood was the only daughter of Dr. Nicholas and Elizabeth Peachey Flood. Her mother was heiress to a prominent family of the "Northern Neck" of Virginia.

She was the first wife of Archibald McCall and died at age 25 after giving birth to two daughters. She is buried in the churchyard of Farnham Church, Richmond County, Virginia. Her date of birth is based on her stated age on the tombstone.
