Hi, Tamara!

Thank you for adding your DNA to WikiTree. Getting the Best from DNA will tell you more about how DNA kits are used on WikiTree.

I hope this helps! If you have any questions or problems, let me know.

Take care,

Hi' Tamara. I'll be looking at sources for your Stina-Maja Hammarlind.

As for my Internet outages, I have had only one - and that was right in time for my morning coffee, so I shouldn't be complaining. It just makes me nervous when the connection can go down at any time without warning :-)

Hi Tamara, I'm new at this, so I could be making a lot of mistakes, but I do have DNA links to 4 individuals who lived in the 17th-19th centuries respectively. I am distantly related to an Ebenezer Fitch (1690-1724), an Eleazor Fitch (1720-1800) and a Zerviah Fitch (1741-1797) These three individuals lived in Conn. their whole lives. I show a further DNA link to a John J. Fitch (1813-1899) who lived his whole life in Lincoln, Tenn. His father is William Hamilton Fitch (1792-1858). He also lived his whole life in Lincoln, Tenn. However, I lose the trail in Tenn. at that point. My dilemma is finding out who migrated to Tenn. Do you have a DNA connection to any of these individuals?

Hi, Tamara.

Thanks for the message. I have a theory that her mother remarried to James A. Keeney, who lived in Skinners Eddy, but I am still working on fleshing that out. I see Eva's death certificate information was provided by Eva's daughter, Christine, but I can find no record of a Solomon. I think her daughter may have provided that name in error.

As for my relationship, personally there is none, but my children are descendants of Olive Lucretia Barnhart through her son Edwin Keeler Brown.

Hi, Tamara.

I have not traced Eva Sturdevant's maternal side that far back yet, but I am hesitant to say that her father is Solomon or Samuel Sturdevant. I have found some evidence that it may have been Charles Herman Sturdevant, son of Peter B., though I am not absolutely positive of this yet, and for that reason I did not add her parents when I created Eva's profile. I believe her parents may have divorced and each one remarried. I am still working on gathering evidence to support this theory. It would potentially explain why Eva's eldest son was named Charles Herman Smith.

Hi, Tamara.

I had originally requested a merge between Barnhart-948 and Barnhart-1293, but I cleaned up the profile and turned it into John Barnhart's brother Charles Merritt Barnhart instead. However, I forgot to cancel the merge. Thanks for rejecting it.
