Obituary
FLORY - Daniel Flory, son of John and Barbara Flory, was born in Montgomery County, Ohio, April 26, 1827 and, died in Sangamon County, Illinois, October 12, 1903 aged 76 years, 5 months and 16 days.
May 16, 1852 he was married to Sarah Kimmel. To this union were born six children, of whom three with their mother survive. There were twenty-eight grand-children and one great-grand child. Six of the grand-children preceded their grand-father to the spirit world.
He united with the Old Brethren church in 1859 and lived a consistent member until his death. He moved to Sangamon County, Illinois in 1864 and lived there the remainder of his life.
Thus the church has lost a faithful brother, the children a loving father and the wife a kind husband. But we hope their loss is his eternal gain.
