Elizabeth Julia Flournoy was one of the children of Jean Jacques (John James) Flournoy , a French Protestant Immigrant, called Huguenots. [1] She was born 5 December 1721.[citation needed]
Her father was born in France, emigrated between 1717 and 1720 to Williamsburg, where he was a goldsmith. [2]
He married Mary Elizabeth (Williams) Jones, the widow of the son of Orlando Jones, Bishop of the historic Burton Parish Church in Williamsburg.
Elizabeth Julia's parents both died in 1740, and she was living with a guardian in Amelia Co. when she and Thomas Spencer married.
She died before Col. Thomas who d. 1793.

Hi! I "unlocked" this profile (removed PPP) after review by the US Southern Colonies Project's Managed Profiles Team. PPP stands for "project-protected profile" and must be supported by a project as manager. The team does not believe that the profile needs to be either PPP or managed by a project (so the project box was changed to a sticker). If you would like the team to reconsider, please fill out the Management Request Form (see the link, here).
Thanks!
