Biography

A daughter was born in the Mannington District, Marion County, West Virginia, to U. G. and Emma Floyd on 9 April 1898. She was their first child, and no name is shown. U. G., a farmer, was born in Monongalia County, West Virginia, and Emma was born Emma Booth in Marion County.[1] This date matches the birth information on the 1900 Us Census and on Ella's Death Certificate.

In 1900, Ella N. Floyd, 2, lived in Mannington district, Marion, West Virginia, with her father Ulysses G. Floyd, aunt Emma J. Floyd, and grandfather Alexander C. Booth. [2]

Roy "Heldreth," 20 years old b. Harrison, WV, the son of Elmer and Mary Heldreth, married Ella Naomi Floyd, 17 b. Marion, WV, on 21 Sep 1915 in Harrison County. She was the daughter of U. G. and Emma Floyd.[3]

Ella was born on April 9, 1898, in West Virginia. She died of congestive hearth failure on 16 Dec 1945.[4]
