Charles/Charlie Murphy Floyd was the son of Redding Floyd b. Oct 05, 1828 in GA, d. 11 May 1907 in Bartow Co., GA, and Catherine L. Murphy b. 02 Nov 1825 d. 21 Nov 1902 in Bartow Co., GA. He had the following siblings: Clark Walter, Frances May, Thresa (Treasy) who married George Collins, Jefferson J. & Martha (twins); Nancy Ann, and O. Franklin Floyd.

He married Mary Elizabeth Morris (buried at this cem.); they had the following children: Susie who married Wiley Lingerfelt; Mary Josephine who married James Waldrip; Walter Lee who married Mamie Echols (both buried at this cem.); Buman who married Gussie (both buried at this cem.); and Burley who married Beulah (both buried at this cem.).
