In January 1919 K.P. and Bessie, J.C. and Maude, and their father W.H. Floyd together mortgaged 40 acres of land on the southern side of the Poteau River off of Poker Bend Road in Cameron Township.

The principle was $100 with 10 percent interest due November 1st of the same year to Rebecca Ward. The full location description is as follows: the northeast quarter of the southwest quarter of section seven township eight North Range and twenty six east of the Indian Base and Meridian.[1]
In August 1940 he attended the funeral of his brother-in-law, David Benjamin Cagle.

He passed away about 1971.
