Marguerite was born in 1899 the daughter of Algernon Leicester Floyd (1876 - 1918) and Elsie Kate (Jackson) Floyd (~1877 - 1927), and her birth was registered in the 4th quarter 1899 in West Derby, Lancashire. She was christened on the 17th January 1900 at St Mary's Church, Walton on the Hill, Liverpool, Lancashire.[1][2][3][4]
1901 Census on the 31st March 1901 Marguerite was living at 97 Hale Road, Walton on the Hill, Liverpool, Lancashire with her parents Algernon and Elsie, and her sister Emily.[5]
1911 Census on the 2nd April 1911 Marguerite was living in Hammersmith, London with her parents Algernon and Elsie, and her siblings Emily, Elsie, Algernon, Muriel, Constance, Doris and Alan.[6]
On the 6th May 1921 Marguerite a domestic servant aged 22, sailed from Liverpool, Lancashire aboard the Canadian Pacific Steamship Line's 'Minnedosa' bound for Quebec, Canada. She had been living at 16 Fernshaw Road, Chelsea, London.[7]
