Biography
Katie was born on 1 July 1891 in St. Louis, Missouri, USA. She was the daughter of E. James Flynn and Mary A. (Sweeney) Flynn.[1]
In 1900, Katie (age 8) was living with her family in St Louis, Missouri.[2]
She was married to Theodore Fleming by 1920, when she was listed in the census as his wife, living in St. Louis.[3]
She died on 23 January 1957 in St. Louis.[4] A newspaper notice of her death appeared the next day:[5]
- "FLEMING, Catherine (nee Flynn), 1507 East De Soto ave. Wed., Jan. 23, 1957, fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, beloved wife of Theodore Fleming, dear mother of Maury Riti, dear sister of Mrs. Elizabeth Tiefenbrun, Mrs. Nell Mantell and Mrs. Florence Culliton, our dear grandmother, mother-in-law, sister-in-law and aunt. Funeral from ARTHUR J. DONELLY Parlors, 3840 Lindell bl., Sat. Jan. 26, 8:30 a.m. to Perpetual Help Church, Twentieth and Linton. Interment Calvary."
