Biography
Elijah was born in 1789. He was the son of John Fobes and Rosinda Alden. He passed away in 1863.
Elijah appears to have married his first cousin. Spouse Celia is the daughter of Ezra and Mary (Shaw) Fobes. Ezra is the son of Josiah and Freelove (Edson) Fobes. Elijah's paternal grandparents are Josiah and Freelove (Edson) Fobes.

Elijah may have remarried an Isabella Delong and had a child (Forbes-4889), but documentation is thin.

Sherie Morehouse
Elijah E. Forbes was my 3rd great grandgather. He married a second time to my 3rd great grandmother Isabella Delong and they had a son Ephraim Maxwell Forbes. I am looking to find any info on her (i.e.: her parents names). I am at a standstill having no other info about her except that she was born somewhere in Pennsylvania in 1791.
