Thomas Fogarty was born around 1836 in Tipperary, Ireland.^[1][2]

He married Cecilia Mary Josephine Cullen on 25 June 1874 at St. Mary's Church in St Kilda, Victoria, Australia.^[3] Their children were:^[2]

Thomas died on 13 November 1900 in North Melbourne, Victoria.^[1][2] His remains were interred at Melbourne General Cemetery in Carlton North, Victoria.^[2]
