Biography
John "Sonny" Fogarty was born on May 9 1895 in Gumbowie, South Australia,[1] the first of seven children to Michael Fogarty and Catherine Howard.
On February 21, 1900, Sonny and his younger brother, James were treated with medicine for inflammation of the bowel. However, their condition soon worsened due to the attending doctor administering the wrong medicine.
Sonny and James died later that day and were buried together at Lancelot Cemetery.[1][2]
