Translation of record: Infant: Aloys - male - illegitimate at birth. Born: 10th October 1845 at Tichau No.144 Midwife: Rosalia Foytik of Tichau No.77 Baptised: same day by Joseph Schrom, Cooperator. Father: (added after event) Franz Fojtik, cottager class in Tichau, son of Johann Fojtik, farmer class in Tichau and his wife Marianna born of Georg Drozd of Tichau Legitimised via subsequent marriage of parents on 24 November 1846.
Mother: Rosalia, daughter of the late Peter Kubaletz, cottager class, and his wife Anna born of Johann Rischka, both from Tichau. Godparents: Joseph Minarz, cottager class in Tichau and Johanna, his wife.
Looks like there was some additional civil legitimisation from Brünn on 8th November 1866, No.18285.

Burial
Alouis died on 12 July 1925 and was buried in 1925 in Saints Cyril and Methodius Catholic Cemetery in Shiner, Lavaca, Texas, United States.[7]
Obituary
Depressed by deep sorrow, we announce to all friends and acquaintances that it pleased the Lord God to call to Himself, Aloise Fojtik
who passed away in the Lord on Sunday, the 12th, you are provided with the holy sacraments dp Netardus, who also performed the funeral rites in the house of the mourning, in the church and in the cemetery, on Tuesday the 4th of the t.m. We offer our heartfelt thanks to the spiritual administrator of the Shiner settlement for providing mental comfort to the sick, for performing the funeral rites and for the words of consolation spoken over the coffin in the church. We also express our heartfelt thanks to all friends who visited the deceased during his illness, accompanied his remains to the cemetery, and to all those who tried to ease our sorrow and grief in any way. We also thank the venerable sisters for the beautiful singing in the church during the mass of St. and ceremonies. To all those names here, we say a heartfelt, "Pay Lord God!"
Marie Fojtikova, wife. Frantisek, Josef, Jan and August, sons. Josefina, Marie Klara, Julie, Anna and Kristina, daughters. Matej Stary, Jan Prasek, Jan Novak, L. Janca, Valent, Roznovsky and G. Balie Fojtik, Marie Filip, daughters-in-law, The deceased left behind 45 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Sleep well, our husbands, fathers, and grandfathers: after this earthly hardship, we will find it again in eternity.
Alois Fojtik
The funeral of Alois Fojtik occurred Tuesday morning at 8:30 o'clock. The procession leaving the home of Louis Balajka, thence to the Catholic Church where Father Netardus held the funeral services, with interment in the Catholic cemetery. The deceased was born in Moravia and came to America 52 years ago. He was nearly 80 years of age at the time of his death. He had been sick about 6 weeks. In April, he and his wife who survives him, celebrated their golden wedding anniversary.
13 children were born to this union. 10 survive as follows: Frank, John and August of Shiner. Joe of Skidmore. Mesdames Josephine Stary, Clara Novak, Julia Janca, Annie Roznovsky, Christina Balusek of Shiner and Mary Prasek of Crosby.
Mrs. Fojtik and children wish to express thanks to all for their kindness in their sorrow.
