After my wife has taken away the articles aforementioned my son Abraham is to take away, and receive, out of my personal Estate, two good Waggon Horses with their Geers (SIC), One Barshear, Plough and shovel Plough, one Iron tooth Harrow, One Wood axe, mawl two Iron Wedges Mattocks, Spade, two Hoes, pitch and Dung Forks,.

My two youngest Daughters, Peggy and Susannah, are each to receive out of my personal Estate at the time they wish to become Housekeepers, Beds & Bed furniture, and other household furniture, accordingly and to the same amount as my other Daughters have received heretofore, Besides two Cows, two Sheep and two Hogs to each Saddles, and bridles to make them equal receiving with their other Sisters..

The residue of my personal Estate ofter the devises aforesaid are taken away (by my wife, my son Abraham, and my Daughters, Peggy and Susannah) is then to be sold by ny Executors hereafter named, at public auction, on a reasonable credit and to the best advantage (first giving public notice of the time and place of Sale. Together with my Land on Back Creek, and my negro Slave Jeremiah.".

The will then goes on to specify that the money from this public sale is
to be used to (1) pay costs of settling the estate, (2) buying furniture
for the two daughters, if their
share cannot be settled out of available furniture. .

He then wills "the home place", except for the "dower" to his wife, to his
son Abraham, if Abraham pays 1100 pounds Pennsylvania currency;
200 pounds allowed as his portion of an inheritance, and the balance
of 900 pounds in bonds paid from crops once he takes possession.
He tallies the bushels of wheat for break, rye for horse feed, etc.,
expected from these crops. He is to pay at least 100 pounds a year until it is paid off. .

His son Jacob "now deceased" had purchased a "plantation" from him earlier, for $533.33. He orders his executors to recover this debt, and put "at interest under good security" until his grandchildren, Elizabeth and Anna Foulk, should arrive at legal age, at which point they are to receive this money plus accrued interest. .

He then orders that other money remaining in the estate be paid to his
children in yearly amounts until they have each received $200.
First to his daughter Elizabeth Reel, then to Polly Lingenfelter,
Sarah Gebhart, Catharine Westenhaver, Hanna Keefer
, Peggy Foulk, and Susannah Foulk.
He notes that his son John has already received $200, and that Abraham
will have "the plantation". Any balance remaining after this has happened
is to be divided into 10 parts; nine parts to be paid to his children and
one to his son Jacob's widow "for the support and schooling of my grandchildren". . [10]
