Biography
John Hodgetts Foley was born on July 17, 1797, son of Edward Foley (1747–1803) and Elizabeth Maria Foley Hodgetts (1759–1857).
John (28) married Charlotte Margaret Gage (24) (born about 1800; daughter of John Gage and Mary (Milbanke) Gage) on October 20, 1825. Their son was:
- Henry John Wentworth Hodgetts-Foley (1828–1894).
John died on November 13, 1861, aged 64.
