"The homestead belonging to Mr. Denis Foley was burned last night.
Everything was destroyed, including all his papers. (some being of considerable value) There was no insurance. The loss is estimated at over £500." The Sydney Morning Herald. 4 June 1902

It is with sincere regret I have to record the death of Mr Denis Foley, of 'Woodbine' Howlong. The demised, who was 69 years of ago, was a very old and highly respected member of the community, he had been ill only a short time.

FOLEYMcHARRY.
On Wednesday morning at St. Thomas's Church of England, Howlong, a pretty wedding was conducted, the contracting parties being Mr. Denis Foley and Miss McHarry, both of Howlong.
The church was prettily decorated for the occasion by the friends of the bride.
After the ceremony, a large reception was held at the Court House Hotel.
