Biography

The Parish register has Hazel b.13 Jan 1899, christened 22 Jan.; the McKean County register has b.6 Jan (or July?) 1899, registered Dec 1899. Given the lateness of the civil registry, I'm inclined to go with the church birth date.

Hazel m. Harold E Smith on 10 Feb 1921 in Steuben, NY. He appears to have died some time after the 1930 census, and Hazel later married Albert O. Andrezzi though we have no record of the marriage. They are together, listed as married, with her children from her first marriage on the 1940 census, but Albert's 1942 Army enlistment has his status as "Single, with dependents."
