Adaline Cunningham is a part of US Black heritage.
Adaline was born in 1858. She was the daughter of Martin Cunningham and Tabitha Fields. She passed away in 1938.
Adaline married Andrew Cunningham, her maiden name and married name are the same.
Adeline Cunningham was interviewed in San Antonio, Texas about 1936 about her life, and her time as an enslaved person.
"I was bo'n on ole man Foley's plantation in Lavaca County. He's got more'n 100 slaves."
It was expanded elsewhere that her enslaver was Washington Greeley Foley and his grandson John Wood.
