Godfrey Foljambe was a son of Sir Godfrey Foljambe.[1][2]

Writ, 12 June, 50 Edward III [1376] DERBY. Inq. (indented) taken at Derby, Friday before St. Margaret, 50 Edward III.

Okebrok. The manor (extent given), except certain rents, services and knights’ fees in Ambaston and Thurleston, held jointly with Avena his wife, for their lives, by gift of Nicholas atte Welde, parson of Derley, and others, the reversion belonging to the right heirs of Godfrey. It is held of the king in chief by knight’s service

Derley. A moiety of the manor (extent given), held for life by the said Godfrey and Avena and Richard their son by gift of William atte Wode, with reversion to the right heirs of Godfrey. The manor is held of John duke of Lancaster, as of the honor of the castle of High Peak, by knight’s service. He died on Thursday after Ascension day, 50 Edward III. Godfrey Foljambe, son of Godfrey his son, aged 9 years, is his heir [Ascension day = 13 May, a Tuesday in the Julian Calendar, so died 15 May 1376].

Tideswell is in Derbyshire, and has a very handsome church, partly financed by the Foljambe family. Darley is Darley, near Matlock.
