Biography

Ezra Burton Follett was born in 1871 in Missouri. He was the son of William F. Follett and Naomi Lane Payne Follett. (Her maiden name is shown as Naomi Lane on records relating to the children, so his mother was likely previously married to a man named Payne. )

Ezra married Amy Ann Smathers in 1916 in Idaho. Their children included: Naomi (1918-1987), Irene (1919-1919), Esther (1920-2016), Lola (1922-1922), Francis (1923-1923), Mary Ellen (1924-2012), Phyllis Nadine (1928-1982), and possibly David (b. abt 1938) who appears on the 1940 census as a son.

He passed away in 1948 in British Columbia, Canada, where he had suffered a heart attack at age 76. He was buried in Gifford, Idaho.
