I have been researching my genealogy off and on since childhood when I found baby books for myself and my siblings that stated our great grandparents had immigrated to America from Germany or Poland (Prussia). This stimulated my imagination.
I am now at the stage of reviewing, correcting and updating my family tree data in preparation for a potential family genealogy book. And I enjoy collaborating on wikitree.
Please Note: I have an older gedcom that was uploaded to the Rootsweb WorldConnect Project called: FOLLETT, KISSEROW, DEVALSKA & DEVELSKI FAMILY GEDCOM. The url there is: https://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?db=bfollett - but this data is now "read only" and cannot be updated with my more recent research. The site may still provide useful information for some people. However, since Ancestry (who now owns that site) changed the format at WorldConnect, you must now use an awkward search function from that page to try to locate information.
In genealogy research, my Tip is: never forget to "Follow The Women"! There are often valuable clues to be found in records of wives, siblings, and related persons.

Although I have added a spouse to my profile, Eduardo and I were never formally married, but we lived together for more than 12 years. His family were really part of my family during and after that time. And I would like to add their profiles to this global family tree. So adding him as a spouse seems to be a logical connecting point on this tree, considering there is no present option to add a "common law" spouse. We had no children together, but he had a child from a previous relationship.
