William Folsom, son of Ephraim Folsom married first to Hannah Gilman of Exeter. [1]

William married second to Elizabeth, widow of Benjamin Sanborn. Children:
- Nathan or Dudley, perished of cold on a gondola 21 Nov 1774
- a farmer living on Hersey Lane, Newmarket.
- 1725: granted 30 acres of land in Newmarket, part of Exeter at the time.
- Hannah is supposed to be the mother of his children.
