James Folsom was born in 1812 in Pulaski County, Georgia to Lawrence Armstrong Folsom and Rachel Vickers.
He married Anna Rountree in 1844 in Lowndes County, Georgia.[1][2] James passed away in 1865 in Lowndes County, Georgia and is buried in the Old Folsom Family Cemetery in Lowndes County, Georgia.[3]
