An Obituary for Frank William Folsom printed in the Quad-City Times on February 25, 1937 reads: “FRANK FOLSOM, 67, SUMMONED – Moscow Township Resident Dies – Muscatine, Ia., Feb. 25 – Frank William Folsom, 67, for the past six years employed at the Newton Lang farm, Moscow township, and a lifelong resident of that community, died at 2:50 p.m. Wednesday in Hershey hospital after a brief illness. He was born Dec. 25, 1869 in LaSalle, Ill. Three sons: Lee, Dubuque; John, Walcott; and Sherman, Nashville, Tenn.; a daughter Mrs. Jennie Williams, Walcott; and eight grandchildren survive.” [7]
