born, 24 Aug 1787, in that part of Machias, Maine, later set off as East Machias, the son of Moses Elsemore and Lydia Andrews;

died at Plantation No. 18 ED BPP, Maine, 25 Feb 1885, aged 97y 6m, and is buried in the Ellsmore Cemetery at Jacksonville (East Machias).
