Biography

Hemengilde, the son of Timothé Fontaine and Virginie Forand, was born 11 June 1865 and baptized two days later in Monnoir., 13 Juin 1865, Joseph Timothe Napoleon Hermenegilde né la surveille du legitime mariage de Timothe Joseph Fontaine instituteur et de Virginie Foran de cette paroisse. Parrain Louis Joseph [Oclorie?] Napoleon Fontaine, Marraine Rosalie Foran."[1]

On 9 Jun 1891 he married Rosanna Rocheleau in Lincoln, Providence, Rhode Island, United States.[2] Their children include:

Hermenegilde died 12 November 1900 in Central Falls.[4] He is buried in the Notre Dame cemetery, Pawtucket.[5]
