Genevieve Fontenot, daughter of Pierre Fontenot and Louise Doucet, was baptized on 15 August 1779. Her baptism was recorded at at St. Landry Catholic Church, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.[1]
She married Antoine Lambert, son of Paul Lambert and Therese Baladay, on 22 July 1799; their marriage was recorded at St. Landry Catholic Church.[1]
Genevieve died before 26 Feb. 1861, the date of her succession in St. Landry Parish.[1]
