Marie Louise Fontenot, daughter of Joseph LaRose Fontenot and Magdeleine Hayes, was probably born about 1782. While her death record suggests her date of birth was 1775, it seems most likely that it was a little later based on birth records for her siblings.[1]
She married Adam Tate, son of Adam Tate and Marie Hayes, on 22 April 1799, their marriage was recorded at St. Landry Catholic Church, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.[1]
Marie Louise died on 15 Nov. 1850, her succession was dated 18 Nov. 1850 in St. Landry Parish.[1]
