I’ve often pondered the Nathaniel and Pasco connection. My husband is related to Nathaniel thru marriage (he’s an 11th gen. Goodrich, and I’m related by multiple intermarries of the settlers of Yarmouth Nova Scotia (my ancestry is thru Walker and Redding) but they all 100 families intermarried so often it’s very very tangled.) One of Pasco’s descendants left Salem for Yarmouth. The rest of the Footes stayed in Mass. and none went with Nathaniel to Connecticut. Both my family and my husband’s family always he’d there was a familial relationship. And agree. 99% of ancestry trees are just copied from other trees or rely on dubious indexes for sources.

Agree with Robin's note below. Bonus: Foote-2349 has accurate info on this Samuel's parents, documented back to 1630s immigrant Pasco Foote (no known link to Nathaniel Foote but documented in the Foote book. More reliable for early records than 99% of Ancestry family trees.

Foote-2349 and Foote-2043 appear to represent the same person because: same birth and similar death, same child
