Mary Ann Forber was born in about 1819 in Whiston, Lancashire, and christened on 13 Jun 1819 in Prescot, Lancashire. She was the daughter of John and Grace Forber.
By June 6th 1841, the family were living near the toll gate in Eccleston, Lancashire. Mary's father was working as a labourer; his age appears to have been misrecorded as 40 but he was about the same age as his wife.
Mary's mother died in about 1848, aged 67.
By March 30th 1851, Mary and her father were living in Moss End, Sutton. Her father was widowed and working as a machinist (aged 71); Mary was a house keeper.
Mary probably died in 1854, with her age recorded as 37.
Research Notes
Two marriages of Mary Forbers in Prescot district between 1851 and 1861 - one was a widow (maiden name Morris), the other had the wrong father's name to be her. No sign of her in 1861 if single.
