Biography

Arthur was born about 1879 In Little Harbour, NS. He was the son of George Forbes of Little Harbour, NS, and Susan Creelman of Upper Stewiacke, NS. Arthur became a physician and married Bessie Burns of Lunenburg. Sadly, when in practice, during an operation, he pricked his finger and died from septicemia ten days later at the Kings Hotel in Lunenburg on July 4, 1927. He was only 46 years old. Arthur's borther, Rev. G. Earnest Forbes of Toronto was the informant. Arthur's Death Record states that he had lived in Lunenburg for 20 years.
