Biography

Noel Edmund Forbes was born on 25 Dec 1894 in Taltal, Antofagasta, Chile to Edmund Batten Forbes and Charlotte Christina Agnes (Wauchope) Forbes.[1]

In April 1914, he sailed with his father to Vigo, Spain and from there to Buenos Aries, Argentina.[2] [3]

He was a 2nd Lt in the Royal Horse Artillery and Royal Field Artillery.[4]

Noel died of wounds on 12 May 1915 in France and was buried at Bethune Town Cemetery in Bethune, Nord-Pas-de-Calais, France.
