Biography

Hepzibah (Ford) Marsh immigrated to New England as a child during the Puritan Great Migration (1621-1640).

Hepzibah Ford was born about 1625 at Dorchester, Dorsetshire, England and was Christened May 15, 1625 Dorchester, Dorset, England.[1] The Ford family migrated from England to Dorchester, Massachusetts on the Mary and John in 1630.[1] They were with a group of families who were the first English to move to Windsor, probably walking for two weeks overland. By about 1660, a group of families had moved to Northampton, Massachusetts. The families who were later in Northampton were the Strongs, Lymans, and Fords.,[2].
