Biography

Mary "Polly" Ford was born August 24, 1772, the daughter of Joseph Ford and Hannah Roberts of Boston, Mass^{[1] [2]}. Polly was named in her mother's will as "Polly Freeman, widow"^[3]

On June 5, 1791, she married Nathaniel Freeman Jr, a US Congressman^{[4] [3] [5]}. No children are listed for this marriage^[2]

Nathaniel Freeman Jr died 22 August 1800 in Sandwich^[6], and is buried in the Old Town Cemetery ^{[7] [3] [5]}

On September 3, 1801 Polly married Captain Samuel Parker, son of Freeman and Desire (Davis) Parker^{[8] [3] [5] [2] [9]}. Their children included:
