Florence was born in 1902 the daughter of Frank Ford (1857 - 1905) and Dorcas (Craven) Davies (1858 - 1924), and her birth was registered in the 3rd quarter of that year in Pontypridd, Glamorganshire.[1][2]
1911 Census on the 2nd April 1911 Florence was living at 75 Victoria Street, Llanwonno, Glamorganshire with her mother Dorcas and Dorcas' second husband Samuel, and her siblings Walter and Mabel.[3]
In the 1921 census Florence (age 18), Home Duties, was the single stepdaughter of Samuel Davies at 75 Victoria SD, Pontypridd & Llanwonno, Glamorganshire, Wales.[4]
