Research Notes

Sena died before 1880. She is probably buried in one of the numerous unmarked graves in the Ford Cemetery, since her last residence was in Montgomery Township, Crawford, Illinois.

There are conflicting claims that they may have moved away from Crawford County, Illinois. They apparently sold their land in 1870. Some stories suggest they may have "moved east." Or did they follow their son Philander Texas? If they did move, it seems unlikely to have occurred before their youngest daughter married in 1/1876, since she was only 12 in 1870.
