Ford, Clyde E., 1912 - 2008, born in Los Angeles on April 15th 1912, the same day of the infamous sinking of the Titanic. He attended Alhambra High School, class of '30, attended Pasadena City College and later obtained a Master' in Business from University of Southern California, something he was always proud of. He married Dorothy his true love in 1937. During WWll Clyde served in the Navy as a Pharmacist's Mate First Class. Over his lifetime Clyde enjoyed several jobs including: Times Newspaper, Southern California Gas Company, teaching at Mark Keppal High School in Alhambra and then Rio Hondo College, where he taught Real Estate and Business Law, retiring in 1977. Clyde served many years with the California Business Education Association including president and was also on the executive Council as Legislative Representative, awarded a Life Membership for his outstanding service to Business Education. Retirement was very busy as owner of M & M Travel Agency, property management, investments and following politics. Clyde was a proud American. He shared politics, money matters and current events with his "Lunch Bunch" every Wednesday. His passion for life gathered a bounty of friends. A memorial service and reception will be held at the First Southern Baptist Church on March 7, 2008 at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers please send donations to First Southern Baptist Church 1275 E.
