Rebecca W Ford was born in 1832 in Quincy, Plymouth, Massachusetts, United States. She is the daughter of Job Ford and Susannah/Susan Chandler Ford.

On November 28, 1850, Rebecca married Nathan Cook Hunt in Quincy. She was 18 years old.[2][3][4] The couple had two sons:
- Wendell Oscar Hunt, 1852-1896
- John Attwood Cook Hunt, 1854-1860
Rebecca W. Hunt passed away July 3,1857 in Hingham, Massachusetts. She is buried in the Mount Wollaston Cemetery in Quincy. A family gravestone marks her burial site.[5]
