Biography

Mary was born sometime between 1824-28, exact details not found. She married George Clazie in 1851 at Hutton, Berwickshire and they went on to have 5 children. They were shown in the 1861 UK census at Huttonhall Mill with the surname written "Clazey".

In 1880 her name appeared on the "General Register of Lunatics":

CLAZIE or FORD, Mary Asylum: Roxburgh

In the 1891 census she was back at Hutton. Mary passed away in 1892 at Hutton. The cause of death was shown as bronchitis and her age at death was shown as 67, which puts her birth about 1825. She was buried at Hutton.
