Probate
The will of Elijah Ford of Marshfield, yeoman was dated 14 October 1792 and proved on 17 December 1792 in Plymouth. He mentioned his wife Eleanor, and his children, Arrunah Ford, Elijah Ford Jr., Joseph Ford, Abigail Ford, and Hannah Wright, wife of Jesse Wright.[3]
His inventory was taken on 22 February 1793 in Marshfield.[4]
In 1797, an account of his estate by Arunah and Elijah Ford was recorded which included debts collected, a coffin, digging grave, doctor, debts paid, and administration fees.[5]
